42 Pressed is headed up by Jackie Robinson. No, not the baseball player, but a girl who married into the Robinson name, and thought it was too amazing not to name her letterpress company after the late baseball player, who’s number was 42.

For letterpress, every single card is hand fed and printed on our antique press. We use 100% cotton, tree-free paper for all our work, including our digital printing. Custom and wholesale orders are welcome!

I LOVE YOUR WORK! WHERE DO I START?
Hooray, we love that! Just contact me via email (jackie at 42pressed dot com) or via an Etsy Convo with all your wedding details: wedding date, paper goods needed, printing method and quantities. To give you a quick idea of our collection pricing:

Letterpress Printing: starts around $1130 for a one color invitation suite, quantity 100 (that includes your invite, rsvp, and both sets of blank envelopes).

Digital Printing: starts around $840 for up to four colors, quantity 100 (that also includes your invite, rsvp, and both sets of blank envelopes).

SAMPLES:
We offer samples of each one of our invitation suites as well as from our baby collection, either through a single order or through a sample pack. All samples are letterpressed. We're sure once you touch and get your hands on our paper and designs, you'll want more, so go ahead and order one! If you decide to order with 42 Pressed, we'll reimburse you for your sample or sample pack.


ORDERING INVITATIONS/ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM OUR COLLECTION:
All colors, fonts and wording can be changed on each of our wedding suites at no additional charge. If you don't see a particular piece you're looking for in the picture (programs, menu's, table numbers, escort cards etc.) please get in touch with us. Generally speaking these pieces have already been designed, but have not been photographed on the Etsy Site. Once you are ready to get started, a 50% deposit is required along with a brief contract that you'll sign and email back to us. You have 3 complimentary proofs from 42 Pressed if needed. For additional proofs, we charge $80. We will then make changes based on your feedback within 24 hours. After you have signed the final proof approval, we will then pencil you in on our press schedule and print your pieces out with obsessive detail. We'll get your pieces out to you within 3-4 weeks after the final proof approval.

ORDERING CUSTOM INVITATIONS or ANNOUNCEMENTS:
So, what exactly do we mean when we say custom? We mean custom design that is made just for you, where you are always at the center. If you are interested in ordering custom, please email us or etsy convo us to set up a design consultation. This can be done through Skype or over the phone. We like to really get to know everything about your wedding day, or about your new baby, or about your party but most importantly, we really like to get to know you. We'll also chat about pricing, papers, and the printing method you wish to use.

Once you are ready to get started, a 50% deposit is required along with a brief contract that you'll sign and email back to us. You have 3 complimentary proofs from 42 Pressed if needed. Please allow 5-7 days for your custom proof to arrive. We will then make changes based on your feedback within 24 hours. After you have signed the final proof approval, we will then pencil you in on our press schedule and print your pieces out with obsessive detail. We'll get your pieces out to you within 3-4 weeks after the final proof approval.

PAYMENT:
We require a 50% deposit before any design work is issued, and another 50% deposit before your pieces head to press (right after your final proof approval). We like to bill shipping separately at the end because every order weighs differently.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES:
If you have to cancel before the final proof has been signed off, we will charge $350, however, if it is after final proof approval, you will be charged in full. Please understand, due to the nature of our personalized, letterpressed product, we obviously cannot accept returns. Please keep in mind that any major changes to your design order, after the sign off of the final proof, will delay your arrival of your pieces and will increase your final costs significantly. We are not responsible for any grammatical or spelling errors after the final proof has been approved. If you must cancel a custom order, you will be billed for any design work that has been rendered up until that point.

SHIPPING & TIMELINE:
Once you have approved the final proof and sent the approval back to us, we will then confirm your ship to address, and give you an estimated time within a few days of when your order will ship. Normally it will take three to four weeks from final proof approval for your goodies to arrive at your door step. We ship UPS, and all shipments require a signature in order to be delivered, so please keep this in mind when confirming your ship to address.

SALES TAX:
All orders shipped to South Carolina will be charged 7.5 % sales tax.
