Welcome
Welcome to 44th Street Fabric's Etsy shop! We are a family shop with two generations of fabric lovers and computer experts--well, not everyone is a computer expert! We want to have the best prices, the best give-aways and the best customer service you find anywhere. We love our repeat customers and actually have become friends with some of them.
We are a dog and cat friendly family and support animal adoption (instead of buying from a pet shop) and we support the movement to close puppy mills. We love our fur babies but we do keep them away from the fabric!
Our family includes quilters, interior decorators and artists. We just love fabric and hope you do too! Please stop by and visit us any time and be sure and let us know if there is a fabric you want us to carry! Thanks so much!

Payment
We accept PayPal as a form of payment. If you do not have a PayPal account, we will help you establish one. It is a safe and reliable method of payment and you can use a credit card, debit card or have your payment drafted out of your checking account.
Shipping
Please use the shipping amount on the auction (which shows combined shipping)UNLESS you are an international customer. We will ALWAYS ship to your PayPal address unless you request otherwise in a convo.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Please remember that shipments may incur import duties which are based on an item's declared value. We are not able to calculate these, so please be sure to check with USPS or your country's customs department prior to ordering. We will not mark shipped items as a gift or exclude or lower an item's value to circumvent customs requirements. Sales of certain items may be restricted by certain countries based on that country's import requirements. We encourage you to check your country's import requirements and restrictions prior to purchase.If Buyer chooses not to purchase insurance against loss or damage, items are sent at the buyer's risk. Shipments requested to the following countries cannot be insured against loss or damage and are sent at the buyer's risk: Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Morocco, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Yugoslavia.
I will cut fresh from a bolt by the order. It will be one continuous piece unless I notify you otherwise. I will send you an invoice ASAP after you finish shopping! Please feel free to ask me if you have some questions!!!
NOTE: I am not responsible for lost or delayed after shipped out the item, so confirmation and insurance or upgrade the service will be your option.
Also, I am not responsible for the speed of USPS delivery. Sometimes first class mail can take a while--quite a while!
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds will be given for damaged merchandise if you return it in the damaged box. Otherwise, returns will not be accepted unless there is a flaw in the fabric. There are differences in computer monitors insofar as color is concerned so be aware that the color you see on your monitor might show differences. Every attempt is made by us to represent true color. Refunds will not be given because your monitor color is off. We want you to be a happy customer so will attempt to resolve any issue to your satisfaction.
Additional Policies and FAQs
We will cut 1/2 yard increments for you UNLESS the fabric is on sale. We do not cut anything smaller than 1/2 yards of continuous fabric. We make kits so be sure to check availability if you need fat quarters or half yards.
If you ask us to do a Reserved Listing, we will hold the merchandise in reserve for you for one (1) week. If you do not pay within that time or ask us to make special payment arrangements with you, we will delete the Reserved Listing and re-list the merchandise.
For the free fat quarter give-away, we need to choose the fat quarters for you. We have a special selection of fabrics we have planned to give away. Thanks for your understanding about that!
