My life is all about balance and moderation!

I am a mom of 2, wife, registered dietitian and owner of 3 Etsy shops (this one a supply shop -AGraffSupplies and an apron/kitchen shop -BackintheKitchen).

I start my morning around 4:40 a.m. (at least that is when the alarm is set for). Sometimes it is closer to 5 a.m. by the time I pry my eyes open and put my feet on the ground.

The first thing I do is put on one of my two favorite sweatshirts and head to the coffee pot to get it brewing. I know I should get it set up to be brewed the night before, but it never seems to get done.

I then check messages and make a game plan for filling orders. Most mornings I spend counting and cutting supplies (for my other shop) and fabric for orders. Then it's time to package everything up so I can take it to the post office (sometimes during my lunch, other times after work).

I drop the kiddos off at day care, put in a full day as a supermarket registered dietitian (where I teach others about balancing a healthy lifestyle).

Once home I try to focus on family and once the kids are in bed I answer more messages and sew a bit. My real sewing time is reserved for nap time on the weekend.

Oh, how I LOVE nap time!

I really love having a tangible result from my hard work and the accomplishment of running my own business. I crave adult conversation and stimulation too much to make working from home my only job, but the thought has crossed my mind. Maybe someday...
