My fabric cash envelope systems and wallets are made with durable designer laminated cotton and satisfy a wide spectrum of needs, wants, and budgets. *** I AM OUT OF THE SHOP FROM MAY 1-31. *** I've left up some basics for those who own one of my wallets, but I will not be adding new listings or taking custom orders in May. *REGARDING THE PREMIUM CASH ENVELOPE SYSTEM WALLETS*
In order to continue a reasonable turnaround time and still offer my other products, I have a particular system for ordering the premium wallets. On the first day of each month (except May) at 9:00 AM PST I post a custom wallet listing that shows 8 available along with a link to current fabric choices. At 9:00 PM, I add 2 more in order to accommodate some of my international customers who would otherwise have to purchase in the middle of the night! Once those 10 are purchased, I do not list any premium wallets again until the first day of the next month. Turnaround time is approximately 3 weeks.


Most of the items in my shop are made after an order is placed. Except for the premium wallets, turnaround time from purchase to date of shipping is 5-7 days. Custom orders vary.


I welcome custom orders but only take a limited number at a time. When I reach my maximum, I remove the "Request custom item" link on the left. But if it's there, ask away! In December 2010, I discovered laminated cotton for the first time and decided to try a tutorial I had found for an envelope system wallet, loving the fact that I could use beautiful designer fabric and yet easily wipe it clean. (The tutorial was by walter + veronica, to give credit where credit is due!) It was my first time ever sewing in a zipper, and I was terrified. When the wallet was finished after hours of work, I breathed a huge sigh of relief that I was done and would never have to make one again. Or so I thought...

When friends saw my wallet and then I shared photos with my blog readers, I had people begging me to make them to sell! Since the tutorial gave permission to do so, I sold them first on a limited basis via my blog until I finally took the Etsy plunge in October 2011. I have made a few modifications to the original wallet along the way in order to create a quality product that is both lovely and highly useful.

Since I am passionate about people living within their means and getting out of debt, I have since designed other envelope systems with the hope that all who would like to use one can find a product that fits their budget and functionally suits their needs. Each of my wallets is made of designer laminated cotton, which is lightweight yet very durable, and unlike oilcloth, is CPSIA compliant and contains no BPA, PVC, or phthalates.
