hello and welcome at Ilse Acke - handwoven fabrics with a twist :-) !
All my items are woven on an eight treadle loom here in my atelier.
By using a lot of different and multicoloured materials, my scarfs and other fabrics have a modern feel that I sometimes miss in other handwoven fabrics.
I use soft materials, naturals as wool, linen, silk and cotton, but also synthetic yarns.
Colour is very important in my work, fresh and vivid!
Every piece is unique and bound to catch the eye!
