Thanks for visiting my shop of animal art. My name is Hannah Stiles, I needle felt collectable animals with wool from my own sheep. I hand dye the colors with plants from my garden and the forest around my house in southwest Maine. I also create a variety of art that I sell as archival quality prints and cards.
My favorite thing to do is to make custom felts- whether it be a portrait of your pet, a special item for your upcoming event or just an idea you would like to see realized in felt. I can work from photos or from your requests for animals that I don't have listed in my shop. I usually ask for a non refundable deposit of at least 40% up front, the balance to be paid after the piece is finished and you have seen pictures and approved of it.

αινιγματι
Ainigmati ( pronounced ah'ee-nig-ma-tee ) is a Greek word that means darkly, or literally an enigma, like a riddle or unanswered question. This word explains the philosophy that motivates my work. Nature holds much that is half revealed and we ourselves possess a hidden mystery.
I offer a glimpse of the mystery I see behind reality.
'For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face... '
Biblical scripture
