Hi, thanks for visiting my shop of animal art. My name is Hannah Stiles, I needle felt rabbits and other animals with wool from my own sheep. I hand dye the colors with plants from my garden and the forest around my house in southwest Maine. I also create a variety of art that I sell as archival quality prints and cards.

My favorite thing to do is to make custom felts- whether it be a portrait of your pet, a special item for your upcoming event or just an idea you would like to see realized in felt. I can work from photos or from your requests for animals that I don't have listed in my shop. No payment is required until you have seen your custom felt and are completely satisfied with it.

Completion times vary between 1 week most of the time and 2 weeks during busy times such as Christmas and Easter. If you have a date that you need your felt by just contact me and and I will do my utmost to accommodate you.

αινιγματι
Ainigmati ( pronounced ah'ee-nig-ma-tee ) is a Greek word that means darkly, or literally an enigma, like a riddle or unanswered question. This word explains the philosophy that motivates my work. Nature holds much that is half revealed and we ourselves possess a hidden mystery.
I offer a glimpse of the mystery I see behind reality.

'For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face... '
Biblical scripture
