Needle felted animals, life-like collectables

The owner of Ainigmati is on vacation.

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by!

Closing my shop for a while so I can get caught up on all the orders I've received. ( I just lined up a month's worth of work in 3 days - this on top of a 2 month waiting list!)
Thanks to all my lovely customers who are waiting patiently for their felted animals. I am working hard to get your orders finished on time!

I'll be reopening when I have gotten through some of my current waiting list. Feel free to contact me at ainigmati13 [!at] yahoo.com if you are interested in commissioning a piece.

Have a peek at my sold items to see my work http://www.etsy.com/shop/Ainigmati/sold or visit my Facebook page facebook.com/Ainigmati for some fun browsing of my past felts!

All my best!

Thanks for visiting my shop of animal art. My name is Hannah Stiles, I needle felt collectable animals with wool from my own sheep. I hand dye the colors with plants from my garden and the forest around my house in southwest Maine. I also create a variety of art that I sell as archival quality prints and cards.

My favorite thing to do is to make custom felts- whether it be a portrait of your pet, a special item for your upcoming event or just an idea you would like to see realized in felt. I can work from photos or descriptions. I usually ask for a non refundable deposit of at least 40% up front, the balance to be paid after the piece is finished and you have seen pictures and approved of it.

αινιγματι
Ainigmati ( pronounced ah'ee-nig-ma-tee ) is a Greek word that means darkly, or literally an enigma, like a riddle or unanswered question. This word explains the philosophy that motivates my work. Nature holds much that is half revealed and we ourselves possess a hidden mystery.
I offer a glimpse of the mystery I see behind reality.

'For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face... '
Biblical scripture
