I love to use fine yarns of the best Italian productions, mohair, cachemire, silk, linen and cotton, I crochet them creating textile chains mounted with ceramics gems, that I do myself too , every ceramic piece is different and unique.
I make and create the ceramic gems into a traditional handcraft workroom in Umbria (Italy), this region has a long tradition in working with clay.
I have a lot of fun to arrange the crochet works with ceramic, or glass, or vintage buttons and other materials that I found and collect mainly in jumble sales.
All Aliquid jewels are unique, with unpredictable colours and matches , every piece has his own small way.
