I've always loved the thought of having my own business. As a kid and teenager, I sold hand-stamped cards and tags to family. It makes me giggle to think of that. These creations were so plain and simple, but my family always bought them. So when I started Annie's Paper Boutique in early 2010, it felt so right and made my heart happy.

I named the company after my gray kitty, Annie, who was my constant companion for 14 years. She was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer in 2005 and died shortly after. I wasn't ready to say goodbye, but whoever is? Then later when I was ready to start my business, I had the perfect idea - to name my company after my furry little friend.

I decided to start my own line of crafting twine because I wanted something more than the plain twines that were already on the market. I picked out colors and had them dyed to my specifications and Trendy Twine was formed in 2010. It was the first twine with three colors; and also the first two color twine without any white. There are 85 colors in the Trendy Twine line, including Valentine, Fall, Christmas, and even a Disney inspired one. The twists are festive and unique. I've always loved planners; even as a kid I would write things down in a calendar. A lot of times, this calendar was something I drew on notebook paper. (And I love notebooks, but let's not even get started on that haha) I started our Orgnaize It! Planner Stamp line to make planning a bit more enjoyable. We've got home and school themes; mood sets that are also great for scrapbooking and journaling; checklists and boxes to list your tasks and reminders; some foodie, drink, and weather images that will make you smile from their cuteness; and other sets that you will absolutely love.

In addition to the planner stamps, there are everyday stamps for paper crafting and card making. Pick from sentiments, holiday, and journaling. The Documenting the Everyday line is a favorite for journaling and memory keeping.

Growing up I always loved to play with stickers and I would put them everywhere. Plus I had my love of paper, notebooks, and binders, too. So designing our Trendy Page Dot line seemed like a bit of a necessity. These circle reinforcement stickers can be used in planners and notebooks, but crafters adore them, too. It's so easy to add these fun pops of color. Just peel and stick and you've added a bit of cheer to your page or project. And that bit of happy will turn into a smile.
