Loved the design, yet glaze of actual pot did not seem consistent and colors were not as vivid on body of pot, as portrayed in photos. Do honor and appreciate the 'art' involved!

I love this little "pot", it's size, curly handle and watery looking inside bottom. I was concerned about it upon arrival. The box was crushed on several sides (thanks, USPS) which made me think it might be broken somehow. But it made it through the rough journey. Am really going to enjoy it!

Yes this all (my etsy store) started as an attempt to clear some space so I could make some more teapots and other things from clay. To me pottery is addictive. Whenever I open the kiln and look at my work I say to my self this is fine but how about ... and back to the clay I go. I tweak my designs, play with different clays and constantly challenge myself. I like to make practical things but not boring ones. I love the challenge of combining something utterly practical and well engineered with a touch or art. I believe it is easier to sneak a bit of art into a house if it is packaged with a touch of humor and a ton of practicality. And eventually my enthusiasm for clay infected my husband and not only did he learned how to throw, he now puts his own touch on our pottery by adding paintings or sgraffito illustrations to our pieces.
