Hello!

My name is Lana. I have been living in Kyiv for 4 years. I moved here with my husband Nikita. We like this city and its atmosphere, here is some special spirit, the spirit of freedom and love. It’s hard to explain or describe what is Kyiv for me. It’s not just the capital of my country, it’s a hart of Ukraine, it’s a hart of all people living here.

About strong tradition of fine workmanship with wood, I’m sure that it’s really so. Ukraine is reach on forests, especially its west part. That’s why woodworking is popular. These puzzles produces my husband. Someone is resting reading a book, someone walk in the Carpathian mountains, he likes to rest in his garage creating his wooden masterpieces. His first puzzle he made for my little nephew, it was a helicopter. It became his favorite toy. Later my nephew asked to create a car, than a plane. After visiting his grandparents in the village he immediately needed a pig, a chicken, and a cow and granny’s house with flowers. Our friends once had saw that funny and colorful puzzles and asked for the same ones for their children.

We like to travel a lot about the world. A few days ago we came from Greece. After each our trip my nephew asked us what had we seen there. As an answer and a little present my husband make some puzzle. A princes after visiting London, elephants after trip about India, dinosaurs from Spain and so on.

Some puzzles were born here in Ukraine, like a sheep, castles, a dog, ducks. Some after visiting zoo, some after reading a tale, Now he is a big boy and don’t need toys, but our little daughter continue the tradition of ordering puzzles.

We have about 75 models of different puzzles, but not all are producing now. As I have told you it was just a hobby, but once surfing the Internet a find the Etsy site, and suggested my husband to show his works there. I think kids all over the world can play with this toys, they are safe and colorful, and much more better the plastic one. They are warm, with a part of Ukrainian hart full of love and happiness.
