My inspirations come from all over - graphic novels, surrealism, Day of the Dead folk art to name a few. My primary medium is oil paint but I enjoy drawing, making jewelry, collage and digital art. You'll find lots of images from my original paintings used in my work. Being an artist is one of my many hats (which include mommy, wife, grad student, tattooed freak and cynic). I feel driven to create, and as you know - the devil finds work for idle hands.
Payment
Please follow the Etsy policy of immediate payment for all transactions.
I use paypal, and I follow the etsy guidelines for payment which is immediate payment. I do not accept payment plans after purchase, for any reason. After three days of no contact and no payment I cancel the sale and leave negative or neutral feedback depending on my mood, so if there's a problem, contact me so we can fix it. If we do have payment arraignments PRIOR to the sale, please be diligent. If you use the e-check option on paypal I wait for payment to clear before shipping so allow a few extra days. Again, if you have any concerns about payment or shipping, message me and we'll figure it all out. I don't bite. Unless that's what you're into.
Sales tax added at checkout for California residents. You know, the man.
Discounts do not apply to shipping charges.
Shipping
I ship my jewelry first class. Most larger items I ship parcel post. It saves us both money. Shipping time depends on how far away from California you are. If you have concerns, or need faster shipping, message me and we can adjusting shipping to meet your needs. I ship most items within four days. Custom items usually ship withing four or five days. I know you want your stuff, so I do my best to get it to you as quickly as I can!
International orders might take up to a full week to ship, as international orders are shipped once a week, usually Saturday. I ship internationally at your risk. If you are interested in insurance I can create a quote and add that to a paypal invoice for you. I have yet to have a problem but I know that other sellers have issues with parts of Central and South American as well as Italy. I've shipped to Finland, Belgium, France, Germany, Japan, Russia, Czech Republic, Spain and Canada with no problems. If you feel you're in a country that might have mail delivery issues, please contact me to purchase insurance for your items. For international large or discounted orders, I will need charge full shipping and might not be able to offer free shipping on additional jewelry. For an additional $10 I can ship jewelry only in a flat rate priority mail package to most countries, with a 6 to 10 day delivery. Please inquire if you are interested in this option. The buyer is responsible for all and any potential customs charges.
When I travel, I message buyers right away about a delay. If there is going to be a delay of more than a day or two, I always toss in an extra treat for your trouble. If there is a time concern on one of these occasions I will do what I can to accommodate your needs.
Refunds and Exchanges
I accept returns and exchanges on a case-by-case basis. Before returning an item, please convo within one week of receipt. If you receive a damaged item, please convo within one week of receipt for instructions. Shipping costs for returns and exchanges are not refunded.
Additional Policies and FAQs
Many items in my shop are made to order. Please allow for slight variations in color, design and materials. If this causes you concern, please do not hesitate to convo me before or after your purchase.
I love doing custom work! Please message me if you have a project you'd like to me tackle. Most jewelry is customizable in color and style, so please do not hesitate to ask for something different so it's just the perfect thing for you.
I do have discounts for large and wholesale orders, please contact me if you're interested! Please keep in mind that my items are handmade (by me and me alone!) and that the discounts I can give are not the same as the discounts for mass-produced and manufactured items. I'm a one-woman operation, and I keep my costs as low as I can for my customers. I work hard for my money, baby, and I believe that everyone else does, too.
I currently do not give away items for review or for promotional purposes. I appreciate any and all promotion you wish to give my shop, my art or my jewelry and I will answer any questions regarding my work. I've provided information and photographs for magazine articles and blogs that feature my work, and I am always happy to do so. That said, all promotion is considered generous support by my fans and it is not paid for with trade or free merchandise.
