Announcement Hello, and welcome.

My name is Kate. Im a 33 year old, stay at home, homeschooling, small farming mama, to 3 (number 4 due this early Spring). We live in the Blue Line of the Adirondack State Mountains, which translates to the middle of nowhere! There is no grocery store near by or anything of significant convenience. Just a very small town with a early 1900's movie theater (still shows old film reels), a post office, a restaurant, 2 (2!) gas stations and small school with less than 300 children from K-12. Our life is really simple and we live it with what we need, not with what we want.

I want to be free from technology, enough so, that I can make my family my main pursuit.

The Art of Family is a representation of that commitment.

In this shop, I will share some of the home and hand made projects that I make for my kids. Whether it is a project we do together, a Waldorf inspired home lesson, duplicate of clothes that I make for my children and/or toys that my husband and I make for our kids.

I want to share a part of my family with yours, because there really is enough love to spill over into your family.

I also want to share that all proceeds from this shop go directly towards homeschool supplies that my children will need as we venture through. Being a stay at home mom to my 3, 4 on the way, little ones is enough work. We bring in a modest income and supplement what we can on growing our own food and maintaining a very small farm with goats for milk and chickens for eggs. Its fun but this place should give us that little extra help!

I would like to establish a rhythm of posting listings weekly, say every Tuesday. But we will have to see how that fits into our busy schedule! Stay tuned!
