I've always shopped resale, searching for those original and affordable pieces that someone no longer wanted. I also give a lot of clothes to resale shops hoping that the items I donate may find a treasure hunter to wear them.

My Aunt Norma was a professional woman at a time when it was rare, and she knew how to make the most of it. She loved to shop but having grown-up in humble circumstances, she knew a deal when she saw it and never paid full price for anything.

Aunt Norma sadly passed away years ago, and my Uncle allowed me the privilege of exploring her closets...she had so many! Although Aunt Norma was very slender, much thinner than I ever have been, I managed to find several beautiful items to wear and enjoy. Nearly every day I find something of hers that I can wear and I think about her and how she might have worn the item.
