BLSoaps' Shop Policies

Welcome

Welcome to Body Language! We've been making cold processed handmade soaps since 2003, as well as a wonderful selection of bath and body products. All of the products in our shop are handmade by me and my husband. If you have any questions about any of our products, please don't hesitate to ask!

Payment

We accept PayPal, as well as Credit Cards & Etsy Gift Cards through Etsy.

Please note that we do not combine orders, or change or amend orders once the order has been completed through Etsy's processing system. Please make sure you have all the items you want (and the desired quantity) in your cart before you place your order. If there is something you want, and you can't find it, or if sufficient quantities are not listed in the shop, please contact us PRIOR to checking out. If we are able to adjust the listings or quantities to meet your needs, we will. But it needs to be DONE before checkout.

Shipping

For our US Customers, we have Flat Rate Shipping Rates. We have two rates in our shop.

TIER 1 = $3.95 - Majority of our Shop
TIER 2 = $5.95 - Heavy Items (Bath Salts, Scrubs, Etc)

If you purchase only Tier 1 items, all you will be charged for shipping is $3.95, regardless of how many items you purchase. If you purchase any items from Tier 2, then you will be charged $5.95. There are no limits on what you are allowed to purchase. So the more you buy, the more you save on shipping! If you have ANY questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

(Flat Rate Shipping does not apply to any wholesale sets listed in the Wholesale Section, and may exclude some of our bulkier or heavier listings, such as our Gift Sets.)



SHIPPING TIME FRAMES

We strive to get orders out as quickly as possible. Most ship within 24-48 after they have been received. A few, however, take longer to process, hence our 2-5 day TAT.

SHIPPING METHODS

All orders are shipped via USPS or UPS. If purchasing a single item, or even several light weight items, it will usually ship 1st Class. Heavier orders may ship UPS Ground.

We ship to the address that you select with Etsy. We use an outside shipping program (not PayPal) to print all our shipping labels, and we copy your address directly from your Etsy receipt.

If you order one of our Wholesale Sets, or have a retail order over $150 USD, your order will be shipped with Signature Confirmation (light weight orders will ship USPS, heavier orders will ship via UPS). Please plan for this. If you need to ship it to an alternate address, such as your work address, please input that address in as your Etsy Shipping address.

Body Language, LLC will not be responsible for delays or lost packages if the original address was not correct. Any additional shipping charges that may be required in these circumstances will also be the buyer's responsibility.

We will ship to giftee addresses upon request. If you would like a note included in the order, please let us know with your order (and also if you want us to keep the invoice out of the package).


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International Shoppers, please read the following BEFORE you purchase...

All Customs, Duties & Taxes are the Responsibility of the Buyer, as is knowing the prohibited and restricted items to your country. If you are unsure of what items are not allowed to be shipped to your country via USPS, please visit the following website. We will try to review your country’s policies before shipping, but ultimately, it is YOUR responsibility.

BLS Enterprises, LLC (BLSoaps) will not be held responsible for any Custom and Duties, or any seized or destroyed items during the Customs Process. Please review your country’s policies before ordering, as they vary greatly from country to country. If you refuse to accept your package because of duties or taxes, you are not eligible for a refund.

Because plant/botanical matter is a frequent item on these lists, we’ve taken every effort to list which items include plant/botanical material.

Please note we will not state “gift” on the package unless it actually is a gift from us to you. We will not lie on the custom forms, so please do not ask. We claim full retail value on our customs forms for insurance purposes.


LOST PACKAGES

We use USPS almost exclusively for our shipping. You will receive an email when we mark your order as shipped, which will contain your tracking number or customs number (international).

If you believe your order is lost, we request you do a couple things. First, check the tracking number on your order. You can also find this on your receipt page.

Then we ask that you talk with anyone who resides with you, as well as any next door neighbors the package may have been left with (or your main office if you are in an apartment complex). Please check with your mail carrier & your local Post Office. Make sure you have the tracking number ready for them.

We use an outside company to insure our packages. We follow their guidelines & timeframes for filing claims, and thus for sending replacements or refunds.

✥ Domestic Orders (US) - 30 days from Shipment Date
✥ International Orders - 45 days from Shipment Date
(exception is Italy, which is 60 days from Shipment Date)


Please note that we do everything in our power to get your package to you quickly & safely. Occasionally packages do get lost. When that happens, we will replace once all the proper steps to locate the package have been made.

Refunds and Exchanges

*** RETURN POLICY ***
Due to the personal nature of our products, we cannot accept returns except in cases of damage during shipping or in the rare case that the wrong item was shipped. If either of these happens, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your package so we can file the appropriate claims. Please do not return any merchandise to us without prior notification. Please do not dispose of any of the original packaging, as this may be needed to file the appropriate claims.

If your order is damaged, or the wrong item was shipped, we require a photograph of the entire order, including packaging, as verification, and to be able to file the appropriate claims with our own insurance company. No refunds or replacements can be sent without this documentation. Please contact us for further details regarding the specifics needed for your claim.

My goal is for you to be 100% delighted with your order. Because skin care and scent choices are incredibly individual and personal, if you are unsure about your selections, I encourage you to order smaller sizes, and then come back for more when you've found your favorite scents and products.


Please note that refusal to pay for appropriate customs, duties or taxes levied by your country's customs is NOT grounds for a refund of any kind. Please inform yourself of these potential charges before ordering.

We use nut oils in many of our products. So if you have severe nut allergies, we don't recommend shopping with us. The same equipment is often used for most of our products, and we can't promise that there won't be cross contamination.

Additional Policies and FAQs

*** MULTIPLE QUANTITIES ***

We have multiple quantities available on nearly everything in our shop. We strive to keep the quantity available bumped up with the listings in our shop. If you need more than what is listed as available, please contact us PRIOR to purchasing to inquire about the quantities actually available. We sell across multiple venues, so we often have more than what is stated here.

Please note that we will no longer invoice for extras after orders have been completed. This can be viewed as fee avoidance with Etsy, and it's something we cannot do. We also cannot combine multiple orders placed at separate time to reduce shipping costs. Every order will be treated as its own individual order. We cannot amend orders after they have been processed through Etsy's shopping cart.




*** COUPON CODES ***

We occasionally have various coupon codes available for use. If you are using a coupon code, please keep in mind that they cannot be combined with other sales, discounts or used on clearance items. They do not apply to shipping charges, wholesale or dropship orders. They cannot be used to purchase anything in our wholesale section. They cannot be used to purchase Gift Certificates or Mystery Grab Bags. Any orders purchased with coupon codes on these items will be canceled and refunded. And we do request that you only use the coupon code once, regardless of its expiration date.
