OWN A VINTAGE BOOK PURSE AND SAVE A BOOK. Repurposing vintage books into truly one of a kind functional purses is the focus of "Charmed Book Bags". I scour library book sales, tag sales, and work with several book dealers to save these lovely books from the shredder and give us both a new purpose. The books are rebound into paperbacks and come with your purse.Now, we both have a new story to tell.

BeeZ by Scranton is owned by artist Kathleen Scranton. The BeeZ by Scranton studio is located in historic Coventry, Ct. BeeZ will offer connoisseurs a series of honey bee related encaustic paintings, repurposed "Charmed Book Bags" that are individually handcrafted by the artist, as well as other honey bee related folk art. Kathleen, and her husband Dennis, are newbee beekeepers with 2 hives in their pasture. Kathleen will be making her encaustic paint entirely from her own beeswax. All honey bee folk art will be produced using sustainable materials, with the first issues of Spool BeeZ and Stuff BeeZ. Repurposed vintage book purses will be fashioned as Charmed Book Bags.
