Thank you for your interest in Between The Weeds! I am always available to answer questions. All my work is custom unique and irreplaceable. All sales are final on any custom and personalized work.
About my watercolor paintings:
My paintings are original watercolors. Each one is unique and one of a kind. They are painted on both hot and cold pressed watercolor paper. Hot pressed paper has a smooth finish, while cold pressed paper has a textured finish. I use two different paper weights, 140lb. and 300lb. My watercolor paintings on 300lb paper are sturdy and do not flex and is the weight I prefer to paint on though costly. The original watercolor illustration renderings painted on 140lb. paper can be slightly cockled, a common characteristic of the medium, this is from wetting the paper with paint and water. In most cases the paintings dry flat. All of my paintings are titled, signed and dated in pencil on verso and initialed on the front.
About my painted furniture and functional art:
All of my paintings are original. Each one is unique and one of a kind. They are sanded and prepped, first primed then painted or stained readying the surface for decorative painting. I typically lay out the design in pencil; establish a color palette, finishing the design with an ink pen in a linear fashion. All pieces receive several coats of varnish; in between each layer I hand rub the surface creating a soft buffed finish. Every piece is finished with a bees wax to ensure protection.
My functional and furniture can be maintained with a light buffing of butcher or fine bees wax once a year. Use a damp cloth to clean and buff with a soft cloth to bring the sheen back. My finishes are to last generations.
About my fairy houses:
All my houses are unique and custom crafted for the fairy living in the house. Woodland in nature is handmade from building the base to decorating the interiors. Nature inspired woodland sculpted art can be used outside or in. If placed outside expect only 1 maybe 2 years before the environment plays its part. Will last much longer in and mist the houses, this keeps them from drying out. Keep out of direct sunlight.
Payment

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: The shipping charge for customers outside the 48 US states is an estimated NOT actual price. Please be advised that when shipping outside the USA, BetweenTheWeeds is not responsible for any customs fees, taxes or tariffs that may be imposed on your order. The purchase value of all parcels must be declared in order to pass through customs. Shipments that are not accompanied by a proper U.S. Customs declaration form and an invoice may be subject to seizure, forfeiture or return to sender. It is unlawful to mark parcels as a gift or declare a lesser value. Please take this into consideration when placing your order with BetweenTheWeeds.
Order fulfillment will take approximately 2-4 business days after payment is received. This does not include time in transit. I will notify you if there are any delays.
Payment is expected at the time of purchase. If payment is not received the item(s) will be automatically returned back to my shop.
Shipping
Orders will ship via United Stated Postal Service (USPS). My shipping charges are for shipments to the USA. When I ship international I refund any overcharges. All shipping charges include postage,handling and insurance fee (unless otherwise stated in item description). Most all my items ship in one day via USPS and take 2-4 days to arrive in the 48 states. Between The Weeds is not responsible for any damage or loss. Contact Between The Weeds at once if there is a problem.
For specially noted items or oversize items I ship UPS or USPS Parcel. Oversize items will be subject to additional shipping charges and you will be contacted with the amount before shipment is wrapped. If you added insurance and package was damaged please contact the shipper or BetweenTheWeeds for I will try to help. All sales are final.
PLEASE NOTE: I strongly urge you to request additional insurance to cover your oversize shipping purchase. LRStudio always covers the work with shippers insurance but only covers the cost of lose to LRStudio. You will not receive a credit or refund for your damaged item. Only if LRStudio was responsible for the damages will a refund be issued after claim is settled. If item is damaged it is your responsibility to have repairs made, LRStudio is happy to find someone to do the work in your area. LRStduio is not responsible for the repair work that was completed by another person. If you would like to have me do the repair you are responsible for the shipping costs and cost of the repair. All sales are final.
All orders will ship to the address on your PayPal account. If you would like to ship to another address, simply write a "note to seller" at checkout or send me a conversation/e-mail.
SHIPPING USA: All work unless oversize will ship priority mail via USPS with delivery confirmation. Estimated delivery time 2-3 business days* allow for 5.
SHIPPING INTERNATIONAL: I will gladly ship anywhere! Artwork will ship first class international mail. Estimated delivery time 2-4 weeks*. Painted functional art will ship priority international as the packaging weight exceeds 4 pounds. I try to utilize International Flat Rate USPS packages to keep the shipping charges at a minimum.
*This is an estimate only and will vary by destination, time of year and customs.

Refunds and Exchanges
Please note that colors may vary slightly on different computer monitors which is beyond my control.
If you do not love your painted piece you can return it or exchange it for another piece of custom painted work. I love my work and hope that you do too. I give as much information as I can so I am confident when you purchase my custom one of a kind artwork, painted furniture or fairy house it is exactly how it was described. I have never had a unhappy client because the photos never do the work its justice. I refund the purchase price minus 5% for restocking. All shipping charges going and returning are your responsibility. Personalized or work custom made for you ARE FINAL. No returns accepted.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: Should there be damage or loss to your shipment: BetweenTheWeeds is not responsible for the damage(s). Once the claim has been processed and the funds sent to us from the shipper the full amount of the claim will be refunded or the repair will be made. If a repair is made LRStudio is not responsible for the repair. On my work I take great care in wrapping my work but when damage happens most of the time it is repairable.
