I have two types of eye masks, my Basic Eye Mask and my Luxury Eye Masks.
All my Basic Eye Masks (and organic or bamboo eye masks) come with 5 layers of light blocking goodness. They are a terrific eye mask and you get your choice of fabric for the back such as:

My Luxury Line is very special and takes a lot of time to make. They have 6 layers with the extra layer of padding that is sculpted and hand stitched into place on either side of the nose towards the bottom wells of the eye mask. This is all done by hand in a very specially designed way to give the best light blockage possible as well as to still be effective even if you sleep on your side without being too thick.

Wash in cold to warm water and dry on low or no heat. Repeated high heat can damage the elasticity of the adjustable straps. I like to dry mine by laying them flat on a towel to dry as they seem to get lost in the dryer......
A good way to remember how to wash your eye mask is to launder it like a bra and it will last a long time.
