Thankyou for visiting my Etsy store. Here you can purchase my Australian nature and fine art photographs as high quality prints ready to frame. I also create handmade photo jewellery using images from my folio.
Please read my policies for up to date shipping and after care information.
Each 'in stock' item listed has its own photograph so you will always receive the exact item shown in the listing.
All of my photographs are © Kell Rowe 2013. Please do not crop or reuse them without my permission. If blogging or pinning I'd appreciate if you can let me know about it and please link back to my shop or main website at www.blackcurrantphotography.com.au
If you request a quote, it is so very much appreciated if you let me know promptly if you wish to proceed. It's perfectly ok if you can't or don't want to, I won't be upset.

Payment
Please check all the pictures carefully and ask questions if needed. I regularly re-photograph all my pieces so if you need more info on a piece, please ask as I'm sure to have more images of it.

You do not need a PayPal Account to pay for your items through PayPal:
You can choose the PayPal Option during checkout. After you submit your order click the "Pay Now" button. You will then see 2 options, the 2nd one is to pay using a Credit or Debit Card WITHOUT having to sign up for a PayPal account.
Payment must be made in full and have cleared before the item is shipped. If you are having any issues with PayPal or are worried about delays, please do not hesitate to contact me.

COUPON CODES
Coupon codes are valid for set periods which are published on the blog or through other means such as personalised email or conversations. Codes are valid for multiple purchases during the period the code is valid for.
Unless specified otherwise, coupon codes are non transferable. They must be used at the time of purchase by entering at the checkout, I can't apply a discount or refund after your transaction has gone to Paypal.
Codes are character and capital letter specific.
You can only use one code at a time (ie you can't combine a percentage discount with free shipping). Codes are only valid in my Etsy shop.
Percentage off discounts are a discount on the item only, not inclusive of shipping.

AUSTRALIAN GST and other service taxes.
On advice from the ATO (Australian Taxation office) Blackcurrant Photography is not registered for GST. Any other taxes or fees for importing to your country, state, or territory, are your own expense.
Shipping

My shipping prices include the costs incurred to safely package your items and send them according to weight and size restrictions. I usually gift wrap jewellery items in my signature purple paper. If you don't want gift wrapping please tell me. It will not adjust the price of your purchase if you do or don't have it.
Please contact me first if you wish to purchase multiple items of different sizes and weights so that I can accurately calculate a combined delivery cost for you.
Photo prints need to be sent flat so if you also wish to purchase jewellery or other 3 dimensional items you will need to purchase them separately and I will need to package them separately.

All items are sent by Australia Post, our national carrier. Please note that any customs fees, import charges and taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser/buyer. All customs forms are marked merchandise and have a clear description of the contents. Unless I have run out of printer ink, your parcel will contain an invoice with full Etsy and Paypal transaction details.

In Australia, all items are by standard Australia Post ex Perth.
Express post to states other than WA is not guaranteed, as Perth is not within the Express network.
Most of my products ship at standard letter rates with delivery expected within 5-7 business days from posting. As a general rule, domestic letters can't be tracked.
"Registered Post" is being discontinued from 8 April 2013. If you'd like Extra cover and signature on delivery, please send me a convo and I will adjust the shipping prices. Signature and extra cover is mandatory for some made to order items like large matted prints and iceblocks.
If you purchase a few items, say 4 or more pendants, a selection of accessories, or heavier 3D items, it will possibly be sent as a parcel. From 8 April 2013, all domestic parcels lodged through an Australia Post retail outlet will be traceable through an online tracking tool.
If you have your own preferred courier service, you are welcome to contact me to arrange pickup by a brand name courier (wearing uniform and carrying ID). I do not permit customers to collect/pickup from my home. If you wish to see items in person prior to purchase, please request a Skype appointment.

POSTAGE OUTSIDE OF AUSTRALIA
Postage to overseas destinations will be by standard Australia Post airmail unless trackable or express options are desired, in which case please contact me prior to purchase. I have the option of sending International parcels via the following Australia Post services:

* Registered Post
* Express Post (standard)
* Express Courier International
* Seamail
I require your contact phone number for all parcels going via Express Post, or Pack and Track International. My contact number is +61 422 871 240.
As a general rule, standard airmail letters and parcels can't be tracked and do not provide proof of postage. I can photograph your parcel and Australia Post receipt and give you the customs slip number for all goods purchased from me and travelling outside of Australia. Standard Australia Post airmail does not provide insurance.

ESTIMATED SHIPPING TIMES (from confirmation of me posting it).
For the USA , Canada, UK and New Zealand - please allow 14-16 days (including weekends) for your parcel to arrive after I tell you I've posted it. Sometimes it can take up to 5 weeks for me to receive a parcel from the USA to Australia.
For everywhere else outside of Australia - please allow up to 21 days (including weekends) for your parcel to arrive after I tell you I've posted it.
Within Australia (including regional WA but excluding Perth) - please allow 8-10 days (including weekends) for your parcel to arrive after I tell you I've posted it.
Perth metro area - please allow 3-4 weekdays for your parcel to arrive after I tell you I've posted it. For parcels sent by next day/express, please allow 2 days.
IMPORTANT - DELAYS CAN AND DO OCCUR, especially in the Northern Hemisphere's winter. Items may take longer to ship if ordered during holiday times such as Christmas or Easter. I will keep you informed as to time frames and any delays I hear of and let you know when your items have shipped.
If you are shopping for a specific event / deadline, please note this in the message to seller and give me as much time as possible to fulfill your order.

Whilst your order may only take 4-5 days, please allow at least 12 WEEK days after receiving your shipping notification for your order to arrive if you are in Australia, the US or the UK. I will usually contact you to check it's arrived before 12 days. If your package hasn't arrived after 16 WEEK days (post shipping) please contact me ASAP.
Refunds and Exchanges
I do not offer refunds for Etsy purchases, but I do offer professional and courteous communication to help resolve any issues you may have. After all, I want you to have a good Etsy experience and I would like you to return to my shop.

All items sold via my Etsy store are of a handmade nature and may vary slightly from order to order. Your piece of jewellery may show bubbles, tool marks or glue residue on the back. Each 'in stock' item listed has its own photograph so you will always receive the exact item shown in the listing.
Every care is taken with your item and I do my best to show you photographs and write descriptions that accurately display quality and any flaws of your handmade item.
No refunds will be given for purely changing your mind, 'not getting what you thought you were getting', or for choosing an item that doesn't suit your needs/décor/frame/outfit etc.
All of my items will be sent with sufficient labelling and packaging to protect them against damage and rain, (this is included in the shipping cost). Once items are submitted for shipping, they are in the hands of a third party (sometimes a forth or fifth party!).
If damage has occurred to your item in transit, please contact me urgently via the methods listed below and include photographs of the item, so that we may discuss your options (such as replacement, repair, exchange) and I can take precautions to prevent damage happening to similar items in future.
Where possible, I post jewellery care instructions with your order. You may email me for a copy if required.
Jewellery pieces have been created using superglue - most often UHU, Loctite or 3M Scotchweld Instant Adhesive CA-40 to secure bails etc. Your piece will be bubble or foam wrapped for postage.
In the event that dropping your item causes parts to separate, you are able to re-secure them using a similar glue. Please take care with jewellery items and don't allow them to get wet or sweaty.
If you take care, and treat your pieces as costume jewellery, you shouldn't have any problems.
Jewellery items contain small parts and as such aren't suitable for children.

Additional Policies and FAQs
I can hold or reserve item/s for you for a period of 7 days. After 7 days, your item/s will be relisted and available to everyone. Reserved items can be found in the reserved section.
Custom orders are available for prints, presentation items and cards. I don't usually take custom orders for jewellery as I don't keep supplies in stock. If you would like a custom piece of jewellery, please be aware it may cost significantly more than my in stock pieces. To date, whilst I have used the same image for multiple pieces of jewellery, there have never been 2 exactly the same (I use different glass shapes, angles etc).
We have a cat and eat peanuts. I severely doubt that either would ever come into contact with your purchase, but you may like to know.
Jewellery items contain small parts and as such aren't suitable for children. Bails are either a hypoallergenic base metal (and listed as such) or are copper or brass with silver or gold plating. Most items are nickel free, but I can only guarantee this for hypoallergenic bails which are Aanraku or Spider brand from the USA.
I use high quality glass which I individually inspect for scratches and flaws. Where applicable, I do my best to disclose any flaws in my listings.
I spend an average of 2hrs (plus drying time) hand assembling each piece of glass jewellery. Instead of the common glazes used to create glass tile pieces, I use a strong adhesive to secure all parts. All paper edges are hand sanded using 3-4 grades of sandpaper before they are sealed with adhesive to help prevent fraying. Once everything is dry, I polish each piece with high quality auto glass cleaner.
The jewellery is moisture resistant due to the glass but is NOT waterproof. It's important to remove it before showering, swimming or heavy exercise.
This jewellery is made by hand and no two pieces will be completely identical. Due to the handmade nature, please be aware that items are not flawless, yet I have made every effort to carefully photograph all parts for you. I have written my name on the back with permanent marker. This does not show through when worn but may be visible when held in the light.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR JEWELLERY.
Each piece of jewellery is made by glueing a photograph to glass, sanding the edges, adding a bail (or hooks) and sealing all the edges with glue. It's designed to be worn, but it is fragile and you need to be aware of a few guidelines.
The back of the jewellery has been signed with a Sharpie permanent marker. Over time it may wear off due to the oils on your skin. For this reason I don't suggest wearing with light coloured tops.
Don't wear the jewellery if it's really hot or if you're going to be exercising as body oils can build up on the back. The back of the pendant is basically just laminated paper. It's moisture resistant but not moisture proof. Try to wear it with clothing it can sit on top of instead of on your bare skin.
Always remove your jewellery before swimming, showering (or washing hands if it's a ring/bracelet).
If dropping your item causes parts to separate, you may be able to resecure them with adhesive such as UHU superglue. Please do take care as many items are made from glass and will break if dropped onto a hard surface.
