I have led a blessed life being married to my prince charming and raising our 6 children as a Stay at Home Mom. I know just how valuable my vocation is as wife and mother having spent over 25 years as a happy housewife and mother with little time for much else... but as our children grew into young adults I sought an outlet for my creative talents. With much prayer and discernment BlueMantleCreations was born. I first started out with a brick and mortar store but found my time away from home to be harder than I realized it would be. I then discovered Etsy and my two callings as Stay at home mom and proprietor of BlueMantleCreations were able to meld into one and a peaceful existence between the two was created. I carved out a place in my home to create the beautiful rosaries, bookmarks, chaplets and jewelry that reflect my love of the Faith and Our Lord all the while praying to The Blessed Virgin for protection under her Blue Mantle, thus my shops name....to honor her who has guided my life with the grace of her Son. I consecrated my life and my family to Our Blessed Mother in 2004 with my parish FAMILIA group and she has been a big part of my prayer life ever since, which is why I love to handcraft rosaries and why I also include a gift of a Miraculous Medal with each purchase. My hope is that the work of my hands always reflects the Glory of God!
