Some of the materials used are recycled, vintage or, in some cases, delicate antique fabrics, beads and buttons. All pre-loved materials are carefully cleaned before use. Other fabrics are remnants.
Please contact me about commissions as I LOVE doing bespoke items. I've made everything from wedding dresses to waistcoats for a lobster mascot costume for a school, Abba tribute band costumes to textile jewellery for graduation gifts.
If it's not in my shop, that doesn't mean it can't be done. Please ask if you're interested in something different. There's nothing I love more than a creative challenge.

I only accept Paypal payments - this service is now available without opening an account with Paypal. Paying this way gives you total security - I have no knowledge of your credit or debit card details as Paypal handles this. I am then paid by Paypal, less their service fee.
Payment is required within 3 business days of your order being placed. If payment is not made within these 3 business days, your transaction will be cancelled and negative feedback will be left on your account.
I ship items as soon as possible after you've placed your order and will convo or email you once it has been sent to you.
This will differ for custom made items - we'll work together on these to get them done in the best time possible.
Orders are shipped from my home in Scotland.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT AIRMAIL RANGES FROM 1-6 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY, especially to the USA where increased security measures mean your package may well sit for several weeks in the USA before being delivered. Unfortunately I cannot control this, and therefore you are encouraged to order items as early as possible if you need them for a particular date.
Buyers are responsible for payment of all and any customs fees.
Please be sure to enter your correct shipping address for purchases.
In order to protect us both from fraud, I will only ship to the purchaser and to the address registered on the purchaser's Paypal account.
This is non-negotiable.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds and exchanges are taken on a case-by-case basis.
In general however -
If the item has been damaged in transit, I would be truly grateful if you could supply a digital photograph of how it arrived. I would also really appreciate it if you could return the original packaging as well as the damaged item, as both of these will enable me to make a full complaint to the service provider.
Your postage cost for the return of a faulty or damaged item will be fully reimbursed on receipt of the item and packaging.
I'm unlikely to be able to replace it as I tend to only make one of each item, but if you really loved it and I can repair or replace it, I shall. If I can't replace like for like, I'll offer you an alternative or a full refund.
If you don't like your purchase:
An exchange, refund or gift certificate will be offered if you decide you no longer want your item and wish to return it. I will not refund you the cost of shipping in this case, and you will be responsible for the cost of returning it to me.
This offer is made on the condition that the purchased item has NOT been used and that it is returned as soon as possible to Bluebell Glen, appropriately packed.
In this case, your postage costs for returning the item will NOT be reimbursed. You are expected to take as much care returning your item as Bluebell Glen took when sending it to you, and will not be entitled to any exchange, gift certificate or refund should the item be returned damaged. Items must be received by Bluebell Glen (at your own expense) before any refund will be paid.
IN ALL CASES, please contact me on receipt of your item to discuss the matter and allow us to determine the best course of action.
Unfortunately, very occasionally items do go missing in the post. If your item has not arrived after 30 days (45 days for US customers) please contact me and I will do everything I can to sort out the problem.
Additional Policies and FAQs
I regret that I cannot ship to anyone but the purchaser. This is to insure both myself and the purchaser against mail fraud.
Commissions - I am always interested in bespoke orders. Please note that I do not accept commissions that ask me to replicate another designer's work. Should I accept work without being aware that it belongs to another designer, I shall not be held responsible for any breach of copyright law or any legal proceedings that may occur. This shall be the sole responsibility of the purchaser, and you should be prepared to pay substantial legal fees and damages should the infraction come to light.
Bespoke items will be subject to my full business Terms and Conditions, and will be formalised by a full contract and a non-returnable, deposit.
