Bluesette offers jewelry creations made from vintage bits and pieces of old jewelry, applique, millinery, steampunk, and sometimes modern elements to jazz up your look.

Bluesette Emporium is a hodge-podge of unique and curious items from days gone by.
Some from my own personal collection, and others from things found along life's path. I've added some charming and unique organic cotton clothing pieces adorned with vintage hankies, retro images, lace and tiny charms, made by me. :-)

Newly added, Vintage Songbird Designs is another line of jewelry that I hope to have in it's own shop here on Etsy, in the not too distant future. Pieces are made from antiqued, hand-patinaed, Czech glass, and sometimes vintage charms. I am continually inspired by the magic of nature and the seasons, and I try to reflect that in my work. I put each piece together with the intent of inspiring the wearer to feel a little sense of enchantment with the natural world.

Being environmentally responsible is very important to me and I strive to bring that to Bluesette. I re-use many materials from the past, selling them and upcycling them into new creations sold here.
I recently switched from plastic to small glassine paper envelopes to enclose business cards and the little thank-you's I include with orders. I use plant-based tape on packages, and the new business cards I include are printed on recycled paper, and all paper in my studio is recycled.
I believe it's up to each one of us to make a difference, and we can do so by the choices we make every day.
