Welcome to Boopa Loopa!

My name is Peta and here you'll find a eclectic bunch of handcrafted, unique handbags, scarfs, pillows and kids clothing I lovingly sew from retro prints, funky patterns and gorgeous materials.

I've collected materials from markets all around the world, many of them vintage and second hand. This means that my creations are one of a kind and most prints will only become an product once or twice.

I go walking around markets most weekends on a material treasure hunt, so make sure that you pop back regularly to see what's new. I take special requests if you like a pattern but want it in a larger or smaller size or just slightly different from what you see. Just start a conversation with me or send me an email with your ideas or thoughts and I'll try my best.

THANK YOU to all returning customers and fans, I really appreciate your patience. My shop was closed for almost a year due to moving from Holland to Ireland to Australia, starting a new job and having a baby. Life totally overtook sewing for a while. Thankfully I've finally settled into motherhood and little Sadie has started sleeping through the night so I now have the joy of sewing back in my life and Boopa Loopa is back open for business.

All items have their shipping listed as singles. If you want to purchase a few items I can weigh them up for you and list the appropriate postage. Otherwise, if you've paid too much for postage once I go to the post office then I'll refund anything over a $2 difference.
