Every story has a beginning, and this one started with a Cockatoo bite, that resulted in a scar, and in looking for a way to cover that scar...a wrap bracelet business was born. (Bracelets of Blue Ridge was the original Etsy shop)...

I am self-taught and have morphed from leather wrapped gemstone bracelets to a full line of vegan jewelry and hand-drilled gemstone earrings. I specialize in intricate woven bracelets and can convert any item into a vegan piece.

Materials are directly sourced from where they are manufactured or harvested. Most sterling silver is hand stamped by a sweet Thai gentleman, and that is all of my imported Hill Tribe Thai 98% Silver. Czech glass beads are purchased directly from a vendor in Prague. And I have similar vendors in Indonesia, France, Spain, India, Africa and others who provide quality items directly from sustainable tradesmen.

Recently, I have also been diving into fiber arts (weaving/tapestries, Tunisian crochet and am long time knitter). I use crochet and macrame in my jewelry designs.

My current studio is a 36 foot Bighorn 5th wheel RV that I have been solo rolling in between forest service gigs stretching from Appalachia to the Rockies with my angel dog “Lundy”.

And I am so pleased to offer a wide variety of Boutique quality artisan jewelry pieces~all one of a kind. I offer custom or original designs that are meticulously and skillfully crafted by myself, with a lot of time and care that I hope makes the wearer feel happy~joyful~unique~ gorgeous~beautiful~sexy~or just plain special!!

I am a color junkie. I actually have Tetrachromacy... meaning I am able to discern more shades of color than most people due to extra cones in my eyeballs. Color flow and intricate patterns are my current crush...tonal variation my main squeeze!

Care instructions

Please keep your jewelry DRY...anything with fiber (bamboo/hemp or wool) and especially leather will mildew and rot with exposure to moisture and chlorine from pools...bacteria from ponds, etc. If you do get them wet you can rinse them of with clean water and then put the leather bracelet in a baggie or bowl and cover it with white rice and leave it for a day or so...the rice will absorb the moisture. It really doesnt matter what kind of white rice you use..as long as there are no seasonings on it!

Custom and personalized orders

I am sorry I am not doing custom orders at this time as I simply do not have time. Perhaps that will change in the future.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All items over $20 leave my shop in a cute blue or pastel satin covered sturdy little gift box with a bow on it. I have my shops name on a sticker on the inside..some of the boxes have a satin liner that doubles as a polishing cloth. These boxes are great for stacking inside drawers for storage, for gift giving, and of course for mailing safely out to you.
