Announcement
Jewelry designed and handmade by California artist Laura Bracken. Everything in my Etsy shop is hand-fabricated by only me, no assistants, no send-out manufacturing, and rarely any purchased components (chains, a few clasps, and the occasional earwire).
I very much appreciate those who support self-representing artists in all walks of life. You make it possible for us to continue our work.

5 out of 5 starsI was reading your info for awhile. Some good tips. It’s been awhile since I’ve played with my enamels. But I tried to go back later to read more and I lost the download. How can I store these? I would like to read more of your lessons, but not if I can’t store the vids

5 out of 5 starsHands down one of the best workshops I've purchased! I learned so much. Loved the extra design tips and riveting tips! Very well thought out workshop which includes individual separate step-by-step videos and a longer version that walks through the entire processes.

5 out of 5 starsi really enjoyed this tutorial. it is thorough and covers all the aspects of the metalwork, coloring and riveting. i was only interested in the prep/ coloring and sealing part but enjoyed learning about the metal cutting and riveting even if it's something i (at this point) never intent to do ;) the actual part about the metalprep, coloring and sealing was rather short though in comparison to everything else in this tutorial but for the price it's a really good deal. the video's are clear and explanatory and overal fun to watch :) now all i have to do is get some materials and i'm good to go! <3 thank you!

All Handmade By Me
Owner
Almost every component to my jewelry is hand-fabricated by me . Individual pieces of jewelry made by one person's hand are not only higher quality, but also have stories to tell that can't be expressed in mass production pieces.

Frequently asked questions
How do I care for my jewelry?
Do not bend any metal components back and forth repeatedly; they will eventually crack.
Metal may darken or dull over time. To restore shine, use a specially treated cloth like a “Sunshine cloth” (a sample is included with most orders). Don’t use silver “dips” or other similar metal cleaners as these etch away the metal, which increases tarnish.
Most metal pieces suffer little damage with brief exposure to tap water (showers, etc), but saltwater (the ocean), bleach, and pool chemicals can be harsh to metal so remove jewelry before pool or ocean water exposure and before using bleach. Avoid water near Mood stones (the acrylic color-changing stones).
Do you accept returns?
Yes. If you are not happy with your purchase, you will receive a full refund once the item is returned to me in the same condition in which it was sent. The piece must be returned within two weeks of customer having received it.
Do you gift wrap?
Each jewelry piece arrives in a gift box. Upon request I can also mail jewelry to gift recipients, adding a notecard from the buyer.
Do you ship international?
Yes. But please familiarize yourself with your country’s import duties and/or tax fees as the buyer is responsible for these. I report the full purchase price on the customs form when I ship.
And contrary to any wording Etsy puts on my listings about the VAT being included in the purchase price, this is not true. There is no VAT charged to you at the time of sale.
VAT and import fees are solely the customer's responsibility.
