Breathe Couture Designs are collections of One of a Kind and Limited Edition jewelry, and true vintage treasures. Most items are made from at least 50% recycled, re-purposed materials. I specialize in jewelry made with rare vintage Swarovski Crystals. I believe in giving back: 10% of ALL sales goes to a non profit charity of the month.

*I feel it important to note that unfortunately the Swarovski name is misused and tagged in many online shops. Buyers should note that Swarovski crystals are not available to just anyone or any retailer- especially vintage! I ONLY deal with direct suppliers of genuine Swarovski dealers so my items are true genuine Swarovski. Sadly many are labeling items with crystals 'Swarovski' when they are not. Some to the point where some are even producing false labels. As most people know anything can be duplicated (just ask Chanel!) but what you pay for is not always the 'real deal' so take the time to know where the items come from and what to look for. As well these are not the mass produced flat back Swarovski rhinestones that you get at Michael's or your local craft store. These are rare, vintage chaton crystal rhinestones.

I officially launched my store July 2010 with my Garden Party Collection. Breathe Couture was one of 5 Canadian Jewelry and Accessory designers featured in Fashion Magazine Nov 30th 2010!
We have a two page spread in Dujour Magazine featuring models Kirsten and Sarah wearing two of our handmade headbands from the Garden Party Collection!
A few Breathe Couture items were featured worn by actress Rebecca Marshall in Toro Magazine Oct 2010.

As mentioned above, Breathe Couture items are made from recycled and/or vintage components which due to age, may include 'wear' such as slight scratches, discoloration, oxidized metals, etc. Several photos are taken with care and magnified to show good detail of the items. It's the little 'imperfections' that make vintage perfect ;) Vintage lovers know things always look better with age!
