My Kindle cases are made using layers of interfacing for strength and stiffness, yet they are soft to the touch, easy to read without removing your kindle from the case. The padded sleeves have both a layer of batting and cotton lining, a button for security and panache, or a fun tab velcro closure. Nicely padded without adding bulk. They are double stitched for durability.
My tea cosy's have been tested and will hold your tea hot for approx. 30 minutes - same for the coffee cosy's. This is made possible by using insul-brite, a batting with a layer of insulating material. Please don't put in the microwave. The dome style tea cosy works best, no heat loss through the top or spout.
