More importantly, BUG has a great reputation for quality and service with the Etsy community.

*** What makes a true archival museum display ***
------------------------------------------------------------------------

~ The display glass in the frame should not easily move around. If the glass does slide around, it means the insect display is not sealed and will not last. Don't be fooled by the allure of cheap displays - you get what you pay for.

~ A quality museum display has a solid back to it and not made of paper, mat board, cardboard or easily removed.

~ Fumigants are NOT required to maintain a quality display. If fumigants are required, it is not sealed. BUG is proud not to depend on dangerous fumigants.

~ The specimen inside the display comes with fun natural history information about it.

Insect displays without these qualities are lower quality and will not last. If you want an insect display with true archival museum qualities, Bug Under Glass is your optimal choice. ___________________________________________________________________
My Story: I have worked in the entomology departments of two major natural history museums where I learned the skills of creating museum quality insect displays. Quality is very important to me because something so beautiful should last and serve not just as beautiful home decor, but also be a teaching tool when others see it.

I care very deeply about the environment and where my insects come from. That is why I only use specimens that are farm raised and that have lived out their complete life cycle. Learn more about insect farming in my profile.
