Beautiful item - beautiful experience. It was lovely to interact with Katarina a fellow Slovak embroidery lover who lives across the globe. The pillows are made with skill and respect for the materials (vintage folk embroidery). The transaction was smooth and prompt. Katarina even refunded a portion of the projected shipping when the actual amount was less. This transaction is what I love about Etsy - exquisite handmade items in a global community.

vintage embroidery and lace repurposed with love

I live in the beautiful city of Barcelona. After years in the fashion industry I decided it was time to get creative on my own.

For a long time I have been collecting vintage hand made embroidery from Slovakia, where I am originally from. Embroidery is a very important part of Slovak folk cultural heritage. Typical techniques include broderie anglaise, drawn thread work, tambourd cut work and cross stitch. It is generally very rich in colour combinations, motifs and the craftsmanship gone into making it is absolutely amazing.

All of my wall art and pillow covers are made only from the best parts of vintage table clothes, bed linen, towels etc. that I have acquired over the years and were just to good to keep locked up in my closet. All of my items are one of a kind and hand made and I hope you will enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.

Payment can be made through Paypal. You don't need to have a paypal acount to use this function, just press the Paypal option and follow the link to pay by credit card.

Shipping

I ship worldwide. All items are send through the Spanish postal system by REGISTERED mail. If you would like insurance please convo me. Items will be shipped to your Etsy address unless otherwise requsted. All items are gift wrapped.

Items in stock will be shipped within 48 hours after the Paypal payment confirmation.

Delivery times of mail service:
Spain: 3 days.
Europe: 3 to 6 days.
Everywhere else: 6 to 15 days
US customers please note that there have been delays in the U.S post Office so please be patient.

Once items are shipped, I can not be held responsible for delayes lost or stolen items.
