Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

Never store knife for long periods in leather sheath! Leather holds moisture and promotes rust in all steel even stainless.

Damascus steel can oxidize or rust to some degree with normal use; additional care needs to be taken with a Damascus steel knife. There are several methods of controlling the oxidation. Periodically apply a light coat of good oil (gun or knife) to the blade. For pocket carry apply a good coat of Carnuba Wax, which is a combination of a very mild abrasive polish and wax. Carnuba Wax can be applied over the entire knife then buffed with a soft cotton cloth.

Should oxidation or rust occur that is not easily removed with wax and buffing, then use 0000 steel wool to clean and polish then coat with oil or wax.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, I accept returns for full refund less 10% restocking fee to cover original listing, selling and shipping fees.

Warranty

I will repair or replace any component to the original purchaser for as long as they own the knife that have not been subjected to abuse or damage. This typically includes loose handle materials. Knife should be shipped at owner's expense for repairs.
