Hi there. Thanks for visiting my shop. I hope you find something you just can't live without.
I know that some purchasers do not like using Paypal so I do also accept Direct Bank transfers.
I do accept cheques, but of course, this does mean a bit of a delay in shipping your item as I will have to wait for the cheque to clear. Just send me a message via Etsy and I will send you my address.
I am afraid the Royal Mail have priced themselves out of my reach.
I will now be sending all my items with courier services. These will take 2-3 days. If you are in a hurry please contact me...I am of course willing to send Royal Mail First Class but I'm afraid there will be extra costs involved.
This is my attempt to keep costs low as my items can be heavy and therefore expensive to post.
I do not charge for the packaging or for the time incurred packing and taking to the post office.--just the cost of the stamp!
I can send up to 5kgs with my courier for £6.50 so if you buy more than one item I can combine them and save you some money. Please let me know at the time of ordering if you want to do this.
As for International shipping....
I am sorry...it really is just very expensive......the mail often get more than I do.
Believe me I don't make money on it....in fact I make a loss.... I do not charge for the packaging or for the time incurred packing and taking to the post office.--just the cost of the stamp!
If you are not in a hurry ---there is a 56 day service (!) which is quite reasonably priced---usually about half the price quoted.....for the USA it is around the price quoted for Europe. Email me and I'll happily change the listing for you.
I'm really sorry all the shipping is so extortionately expensive..... I hope it hasn't put you off buying from me.
I take the utmost care to wrap and secure pieces for their long journey to make sure they arrive safely.
Please note: Any customs charges or local taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds and Exchanges
I am obviously happy to refund the total payment for items broken in the post unless I have another item the same (unlikely) which I can send out to replace it.
If you simply do not like the item you receive then, if you return it at your own expense, I will refund the cost of the item.
Additional Policies and FAQs
I do take custom orders, but I will have to insist on payment upront , as I have sometimes been left with unsellable items when the commissioner has changed their minds, or even commissioned two potters so that they have a choice!!
