Welcome to Carolina Purses and Handbags. All of my purses are made by me using eco-friendly, recycled leather, leather remnants, recycled hardware, belts, buckles, zippers and clasps. I do use new rivets and some magnetic snaps. Occasionally, I find a piece of fabric with an interesting print and incorporate this with the leather. Most of the leather comes from thrift stores that are local charities. I love thrifting for two reasons. I have always loved to make something out of a cast off and I also believe that I am giving back to my community by shopping there.
Refashion, Recycle, Restyle and Repurpose! I use this motto to design my eco-friendly handbags and accessories. Each and every one is created with an attention to detail and is a Unique item of wearable art. All of my creations are completely made by me with great attention to detail, finishing, and design.
