I grew up in the picturesque seaside town of Nairn, Scotland. Nairn is best known for its famous golf club and beautiful beaches so I have always felt most at home in places where there's a beach nearby!

Wandering along a beach is one of my favourite ways to stay occupied and since moving to Edinburgh I've enjoyed exploring the local beaches. It was on my first stroll along the shoreline of the lovely seaside town of Kirkcaldy that I first had the idea to collect the unique treasures that the waves had carried to the shore. I was inspired by the wealth of wonderful pieces of sea pottery, sea glass and vintage artefacts that I found that day and felt sure that there must be someone out there who could use these pieces in marvellous ways - this is where you come in!

Collecting treasures like these is an exhilarating experience as I never know what I'm going to find. Could there be a stunning pattern on the other side of a seemingly plain piece of sea pottery? Where did this piece of sea glass start its journey? I'll continue to enjoy collecting these unique parts of Scottish history and hope you find as much joy being creative with them as I have discovering them!
