As a professional cook I know that plastic and wooden cutting boards are the best to cut on, but with plastic you can’t use them for display like one of my boards. Using wood cutting boards will protect your knives and allow them to stay sharp longer. If you think the board is too nice to cut on, I suggest dedicating one side for cutting and the other for show. Toys
Buy your toddler a gift that will have them entertained for hours. My toys are made from solid hard woods like cherry, maple, and walnut .My toys are finished with AP approved acrylic paint and shellac finish to seal it. It can be cleaned and will not bleed. These toys are built to be heirloom and will be able to pass down through generations.
