One time there was this online contest that if you made a tiny chair 8" or less then they would auction them for charity. (Epilepsy) Anyway Chairs for Charity. But I guess I fell in love with making them... so cute. As for the meaning... hmmm my idea of sculpture? I actually build racks for them to sit in so you could collect 5 and have them all displayed. (I have one in my studio) I also make a series of goddesses, robots and all other manner of non-functional art. It's also my way of recycling as you can't just throw these boards in the trash or landfills. If they break open they have lead in them and who knows what other crappy chemicals. Enjoy!
