CHRISTMAS IS LOVE is a boutique of heirloom quality stockings, handmade from lovely and unique vintage and antique textiles (and occasionally new fabrics too) in a wide range of styles. They are designed and constructed to become heirlooms that will be enjoyed for many generations to come and have features not usually found in handmade stockings. My stockings were featured in Paula Deen's Christmas 2010 Special Collector's Issue magazine and the Nov/Dec 2010 issue of Cooking with Paula Deen. The issues have wonderful photos of Paula's Savannah home decorated beautifully for the holidays. Several photos show four of my vintage chenille stockings framing her kitchen fireplace. I am so very grateful to Paula and her fantastic staff for giving me the opportunity to make a group of special stockings for her home.
I use primarily antique and vintage textiles in the stockings have limited amounts of each fabric. Because of that, many stockings are one-of-a-kind and cannot be duplicated. If you see something that appeals to you, please do not assume that I will be able to make another one like it in the event it is sold.
