My coastal mandala watercolors take forever to paint every little detail!!! But it's beautiful zen for me.
This is me working on a new painting of one of my favorite characters..Sylvia. It's titled Cannonball!
I painted this Sylvia picture with my favorite watercolor set handmade in Paris. They're so creamy!!

I love the ocean and everything in and around it! Oh, ya, and my dog Mari.

As a self taught artist, being in my studio by the beach is where I love to be! Playing with design ideas, colors, paints, and anything else I've picked up at the art store is my idea of a perfect day. My inspirations are all around me in my little beach community of Carlsbad, California. Whether I'm walking my dog, sitting on the sand, or playing in the water, I find beautiful ideas around me. Whenever I can, it's up in my studio I go, with my Doberman Pinscher, Mari, all of my supplies surrounding me, and my music playing loud! Heaven.
