My mixed media collages are based on layers of color and texture and include deliberate imperfection--distressed surfaces and vintage objects-- whenever possible. I love upcycling textiles to create something new. Pieces from my vintage trim and fabric collection add detail and quirk to my sewn pieces. Assemblages are sourced from the rescued and the collected--if I find it, I usually think of a way to make art out of it!
