Welcome - I'm Kathleen-owner/designer of ComfyCreations your place to shop for a variety of quality hand crafted products designed for comfort and convenience.
Having practiced massage therapy for several years I find the experience in this profession allows me to design my therapy products with your most common therapeutic needs in mind.
All therapeutic products are filled with organic ingredients. Lavender for relaxation, flaxseed for its thermal ability to retain heat. Along with grains of rice that I have found to be the best form of moist heat therapy. Made of high quality designer cotton fabric with the durability to withstand repeated heating.
Over the years I have found creating/designing products for daily comfort and wellness through sewing techniques that can be a challenge when creating new designs as well as rewarding. You will see these products throughout my shop along with the therapeutic items that are the original staple of ComfyCreations.

Special qualifications in therapy?
Having practiced massage therapy for several years I find the experience in this profession allows me to know the most common areas from daily stress and strain. With that, I keep in mind when designing all my therapy packs the importance to bring a form of natural healing and relief to these painful areas.
Care and use instructions?
Place pack on clean surface in microwave. On the average each pack is microwaved for approximately 1-2 minutes. Place in freeze for about 20 minutes for cool therapy

Therapy Pack Ingredients/how to maintain?
Each therapy pack is filled with a combination of:
flax seed for long lasting heat
rice for moist heat therapy
organic scented of your choice:
lavender peppermint or unscented
It is important to note not to submerge the packs. Spot clean only with by lightly applying with a gentle cleaner and wiping the area clean. Please note to be mindful of the tray in the microwave before heating
You can also refresh the scent by taking an essential oil of your choice- place a small drop in palm of hands, rub together and wipe
over the fabric
When is best to apply therapy packs
The body is known it heal and rejuvenate when at rest. Therefore, I suggest applying any design of therapy packs at time for relaxation.
In our busy lives we can ask ourselves, when is there time to rest, I say when is there not time to rest in order to keep up with our daily routines. It truly is important for our well being to take a breath and
let the body rest.
I like to suggest keeping your packs visible as a reminder to take the time to apply them and relax. Leave on the arm of your favorite chair, the bed pillow, night stand.....
How long do the packs stay heated?
After microwaving the suggested time the packs can stay warm up to 45 minutes. I have also found for example that the packs will retain heat from the body heat that is generated from the packs

Yes, I would be glad to gift wrap with special message for the gift recipient. Please note that an invoice will only be sent to you.
Essential Oils for scents?
When creating the mixture of ingredients only organic oils are used. Through the years as a massage therapist I have become familiar with the best companies that offer long lasting scented oils. I have also had continuing education in aromatherapy and its many benefits
