My daughters and I (semi-jokingly) say that we like to buy the cage free, free range eggs because happy chickens make happy eggs, and happy eggs make healthier, happier people.
I think the same theory could just as easily be applied to shopping on Etsy. When you buy items crafted by people who really enjoy the entire creative process, you're surrounding yourself with loved, happy things. I believe bits of that rub off on your life and make your world a better place.
