I am passionate about fashion, heels, fetish, corsetry, dolls, retro pinups, body modification, costume history and all things bizzare. I like to incorporate all of the above into my artwork.
I often enjoy working on cardboard for the contrast between the gritty texture and the glamorous artwork painted onto it. The experiments with media used on that texture – glitter, nail polish, paper-cutting are also very exciting to do.
I love to see what people are willing to do with their bodies to achieve beauty in their own eyes. There are so many possibilities and tastes that you will never satisfy everyone. What is beautiful to one, can be hideous to another. Playing on those ideas, my artwork searches through the fashion world of today and the past, to find the intriguing and extreme.
