Welcome to my Fantasy, I have always loved all sorts of Arts and Crafts. Even dreamed of making a living as an Artist. This shop is the beginning of making that dream come true. All items are handmade and designed by me.

My passion is for jewelry making: cutting cabachons and faceting stones, silversmithing, working with silver clay and various art clays, beading, making lampwork beads, wirewrapping and china painting discs. I also love china painting on all types of china, porcelain, enamel and glass.

China Painting is old art form done by painting on white china and firing pieces in kiln to get hard fired designs. Most China paints are chemicals that actually change color of glass they are painted on. If properly fired should last for long time. Pieces today are lead-free using new paints that were not available to older painters. They are dishwasher safe. Although you will find over time that pieces with gold and platinum dissolve in dishwasher even on commercial china, so don't put them in dishwasher. For myself, I hand wash handpainted china, because of how much work went into them and not wanting them to be chipped or cracked. Most china painting has at least 3 fires on it to achieve depth of colors. I have done pieces with 10-20 fires, this is due to shape of piece, complexity and different techniques on it.
