I sell one-of-a-kind pendants skilfully crafted from a type of foiled polymer called Friendly Plastic.
Each pedant takes hours of work beginning with intricately cutting and arranging the pieces which are then gradually melted, dragged and swirled to produce various effects. Control is vital at this stage because one tiny mistake can easily ruin the whole effect.
A bail is embedded, and each pendant is then backed with a second layer of foiled plastic precisely cut to shape. The final stage involves coating each piece with a deep glossy layer of resin to enhance the gorgeous colours and to provide durability.
If all goes to plan, the result is a unique lightweight pendant which resembles dichroic glass, but has far more versatility in design.
For my UK customers, most of my pendants are priced at $14 which is roughly £8.60. The exact amount is calculated and converted at checkout.
