Temari is a traditional Japanese folk art. They began as toys for children, but evolved over time into decorative objects as they began to be more and more elaborately embroidered with colorful threads. Given as gifts, they symbolize deep loyalty and friendship and bestow wishes of a brilliant life for the recipient.
Temari can be displayed atop candleholders or napkin rings, hung from a doorway or your car's rearview mirror. They make excellent housewarming gifts, and look amazing on a Christmas tree.
