Cubozoa offers one-of-a-kind clothes and jewelry, using a wide variety of repurposed fabrics from different eras, and some new materials as well. All items are made at home by me, Jill. Cubozoa offers unique handmade clothing and jewelry, with an emphasis on recycled materials. Every clothing item (as well as many jewelry & hair pieces) includes repurposed fabrics. Sourcing the fabric this way is an important piece of what Cubozoa is about - I see all this STUFF around us... all the consumption and pollution in this sprawling city. Sometimes I regret that it was this place that raised me - yet, it's inevitable that parts of this plastic culture would be ingrained into my personal identity, as much as I may personally push myself to look beyond it. My clothing & jewelry project mixes funky urban style with a "waste not" mentality. I believe that if we try, we may be able to sort through all this rubble and, seeing it with a new perspective, re-make it into something beautiful.

You can make the most of it by having items customized, placed on hold, or remade in your favorite color. I'll respond within a day, two at the most.

I would be happy to consider alternative forms of payment for my creations; if you'd prefer to trade something instead of using money, Convo me and we may be able to work something out. I especially love homegrown fruits and veggies, and I don't have a yard at this point, so if you live in the Boulder-Denver-metro and have a garden... that could work.

In it, you can transcend time and space - time, because many of my pieces meld the influences of several different eras in fashion history - and space, because... Well, you can go anywhere you want while you're wearing it :D
