I relocated to the Asheville area from Central Florida over a year ago in order to be surrounded by fellow artists. I’ve been exhibiting my art throughout the United States for almost two decades. I’ve won countless awards over the years including many Best of Show, Award of Distinction, and Best in Class. I’ve exhibited my art at art festivals in major cities throughout the Eastern-half of the United States, including The Festival of Master’s at Disney World. Many national art galleries have also exhibited my work.
I create “One of a Kind” mixed-media sculptures, using handmade papers, fibers, paints, metal-leaf, wood, gemstones and found objects. My sculptures are always environmentally conscious, and handmade with the idea that each piece may be handed down from generation to generation. In each of my pieces, I always endeavor to insure that my art is filled with brilliance of color, texture, fine detail, expert execution, form, and is technically perfect.
A significant portion of my pieces are large, wall-mounted sculptures, but I have also created a series of tabletop, and wall-hung pieces that can be appreciated in smaller settings. Many of the pieces in this series are intentionally created with themes that appeal to women, men, children, the military, as well as other interests and organizations.
I’ve just completed a new series of my small pieces that provide an emotionally uplifting theme. . Each piece is a framed size of 5” x 7”, with a hanger on the back & easel stand. They are signed by the artist and include my bio.
