Welcome
I'm a strong proponent of wildlife conservation. I participate in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation in my spare time and volunteer in the biology department at the Science Museum of Minnesota. No animals were killed for the purpose of creating the items I offer. The animal materials I use would have been discarded by others had they not been salvaged for these projects. My animal materials come from only ethical and environmentally sound sources such as roadkill, livestock remnants, casualties of the pet trade, destroyed nuisance animals/pests, and animals that died of natural causes. Out of respect for the animal, I waste as little as possible. I adhere to a very strict "waste not, want not" policy in my studio - virtually every part of the animal is recycled in some manner
Payment
Payment due within 5 days of purchase. Items not paid for within that time will be re-listed and sold to the next customer.
Minnesota residents pay 7.50% sales tax
MAILING PAYMENT: Money orders or cashier's checks only. Personal checks are not accepted unless you have contacted me to make previous arrangements. If you mail a check without authorization it will be returned to you.
Shipping
DELIVERY TIME:
Orders are only shipped once a week on Wednesday mornings. This is due to transportation limitations. I'm sorry but I cannot make special trips to the post office for individual sales. Unless otherwise noted in the listing, all orders are shipped 1st class mail. You may upgrade to Priority Mail for an additional fee if you make arrangements with me prior to purchase.
Foreign Orders:
Your order will be declared at full value on customs paperwork. Please be prepared to pay for any importation taxes imposed in your region. Orders exported outside of the U.S. are shipped registered 1st class mail so they can be tracked. Your package will require a signature upon delivery. If you fail to sign and the package gets returned to me I will not re-ship the package back to you for free, you will have to pay shipping charges a second time. Please allow 3-6 weeks for international delivery (Please note that 3-6 weeks is the average amount of time an exported parcel takes to arrive. It may arrive sooner than 3 weeks, or it may take longer than 6 weeks. There are a number of variables that affect delivery times such as your location. Additionally, if your parcel is selected for a random customs inspection this can significantly delay your delivery. Customs is an inevitability of exportation and importation. Please be prepared for the possibility of a delay and take it into consideration when purchasing)
Refunds and Exchanges
Items may be returned within 7 days of purchase for an exchange or in-store credit. I'm sorry, no refunds can be issued. Buyer is responsible for all shipping fees. I strive to deliver professional customer service as well as quality items. If there are any problems please contact me immediately so I can make things right.
Additional Policies and FAQs
Regarding the purchase of wildlife products;
I do not ship any wildlife products outside of the U.S. Please note that it is your responsibility to check with your local Department of Natural Resources and U.S. Fish & Wildlife authorities regarding items you purchase. Custom Creature Taxidermy Studio will assume no responsibility if you purchase an item prohibited in your region.
