I started painting and drawing when I was little
I still draw a lot of cartoons as a way to get my feelings out
I grew up on Fire Island in NY and painted beach scenes and lighthouses and did a lot of custom work for people
I gave my paintings away to friends and family
I moved to Virginia and met my girl online
I came to Wisconsin to be with her and now I find myself painting a lot of barns!
She told me I needed to sell my artwork so I set up a shop here
on etsy
I prefer to paint and just don't get into the whole promote promote promote thing
I love doing shows and meeting people in person
We have a Husky that loves attention
I have a friend that has a big commercial printer that I use on occasion to make my paintings into prints
I like to have control over the quality of the prints so I do not send them out to be printed
Smaller prints I print at home on my Kodak printer along with my note cards
