Welcome to DonFelix!

A lot of the vintage items you'll find here were discovered in boxes stored in my late father's store. He owned a Western Auto/General store in the small town of Olanta, SC. My father stored many items on shelves in his vast storage room as the years progressed (he kept moving new merchandise in and there was only so much shelf space!). These items were subsequently found by me after his retirement. Since he passed away, I've held onto a lot of them, but it's time now to let most of them go (I only have so much shelf space myself.) It is my hope that if you decide to purchase any of these vintage items from my father's store that you'll find as much enjoyment in owning them as I enjoyed walking the aisles of his store when I was a child and pretending to be a saleslady! :)

Of course there are other great vintage finds here that did not come from my father's store, but the ones that belonged to him will be noted in each listing. You can be sure that these items have been stored safely over the years and most of them were never opened or any packaging removed.

Other than unearthing a great many of these vintage items, I spend a lot of time at the sewing machine creating new handmade items. Some, such as hats, blankets, home decor are listed here, but I also offer a lot of babies' and children's items at my other Etsy shop, piggiesnblankets. I hope you'll check it out and check back here often. Maybe you'll find something here tomorrow that you couldn't find today!
