I've been creating in stoneware and other clays for over thirty years. Lately I'm enjoying making beads, amulets, and other small treasures for jewelry making or mixed media creations.I also make jewelry and larger clay pieces which will find their way here from time to time.

~This week I've added a few listings of magic wands that began as party favors for a Harry Potter themed birthday party for my son who is turning 6 this month:) He assured me that anyone interested in casting or studying magic must have one! So here they are, for you!

I hand form each and every bead, some from stoneware, some earthenware clays. They are then kiln fired, unless I'm having a pit fire for other works, and all are hand painted with acrylics.

I make the holes with cocktail straws, which gives them a hole about 2mm in diameter, to give you an idea of what materials will work for stringing.

Many of my tools are gifts from the sea that I've picked up and collected over the years, stamps i make myself, things I find in the forest, or in a thrift shop bin. Anything with a texture is inspiration for these tiny treasures!

~I'm open to custom projects and would be glad to discuss and dream them up with you. I can reproduce anything you see here in any of the color schemes also seen on other pieces. Visit my alchemy page for these requests please.

~your beautiful baubles come wrapped in tissue inside a signature bag that I make myself, tagged and tucked safely inside a bubble wrap reinforced mailing envelope. I can make custom gift boxes upon request, convo me for this information please :)
~your wands come wrapped in tissue, packaged in a handcrafted decorative tube, each one with some extra little surprise about it's packing, or inside. Enjoy!
