I am a rock hound and gem geek. Many pieces of jewelry I make represent this. I love rough and rose cut diamonds, brightly colored harlequin faceted sapphires, custom ordered and cut gemstones from my personal suppliers and inlaid precious and semi-precious gemstones such as peridot, amethyst, garnet, iolite, opals, black spinal, citrine ... the list goes on. Hand carved tourmaline, watermelon slices in wonderful pinks, blues, greens and browns are a common trigger. I have a current fascination with pink and blue Topaz and sparkling druzy cabochons.
I texture much of my own metals- sterling silver, fine silver, white, yellow and rose gold and am currently expanding into etching and glass enameling my own brass and copper sheet. I am also a glass lampwork artist taught by Amy Waldman.
This shop contains very personal and experimental works. Many of which is a line I do not sell publicly in shops and galleries. It doesn't get anymore one of a kind.
My pieces come to you from a small rural town located in Ontario, Canada.
All of my works are completely unique and all are designed and hand crafted by me, made one at a time, using traditional metalsmithing techniques.
All items are ready to ship, are exactly as seen in the photos, and each will
arrive in a black velvet, drawstring pouch, carefully tucked away into a gift box tied with ribbon and hand punched, colourful and texture rich cardstock embellishments. Artists cards, stickers and sometimes postcards -both mine and the collaborative artists, are also included.
Any made to order items or limited edition pieces will be listed as such.
